In my OMDE 603 class we are expected to work with our fellow students and a mass a glossary with different terms I was having difficulty with the concept. I had never used the website or a website to build a wiki. Brainstorming is the part of the assignment I have been stuck in and then now I am compiling terms and defining them in my own words.
My group had already started by the time I realized how to get into the site. I am a member of group 5 the terms they defined are as follows:
1. M-learning
2. Distance Education / Learning
3. E-learning
1) Learning Management System2) Netiquette3) Collaborative Learning4) Author ware (or Author Tools)5) Virtual Field Trip
1) Pedagogy
2) Andragogy
These terms were suggested so far.

ReplyDeleteThe game is about interaction, cooperative learning, we can all look up these words and are already reading about them but I truly feel we have to engage and interact when we are working in groups it forces us to put are thoughts out there and we are all afraid of looking stupid. Well perhaps not me because my faith has humbled me to a point I know how stupid I am. I tell everyone the only thing college taught me is just how dumb I am why else do you think they gave me a B.S. it certifies me as having a bachelor of bull shit.
I love it! YES really I am training for a new job and they are paying me to go to classes right now for it. Basically they give me $32,400 salary for five months while I attend a training and then I pass I then get a raise to $36,000 and if in 1 year I prove I know my job I get about $40,000 a year! WHOA! So far I am sure I have only learned I am dumb! The other students seem so far ahead of me. I am gambling on my brain for money...It's crazy and scary!
ReplyDeleteYou'll be fine. I understand the "wages" of war in earning pay for a job you likely already know how to do and do well, but have to have your 'paper' to say so.
