The Reflection
The blog assignment is my favorite assignment perhaps because I am very comfortable expressing myself through written word. I believe that it is a time honored tried and true experience through college to have to express yourself in choosing the proper words, when you strip out the classroom experience and personal interaction you must become a strong writer to convey your emotion adequately. It was difficult becoming inspired everyday and I found myself posting as a chore some days. Other days I was so inspired from the class materials that I could not shut up! I am a talker either way. Online format classes could take the casual blog and implement it as a tool for students to casually document the process of mastering our fields.

I am going to disagree with you about your statement " you must become a stronger writer to convey your emotions adequately". Not that I believe this is not possible, more because I'm talking to my computer right now, rather than writing. I guess I found a way to cheat! Well just checking your blog because you are an inspiration in conveying your motions adequately in written form.
ReplyDeleteyou commented on my blog, " are you responding to your own blog", really I just cut and pasted the second half of my note taking as I was reading. I didn't want you have to wade through all my notes, so this time I am subjecting you to a 10 minute video blog. Hope it's a little bit better than reading my, attempt at expression my emotional inadequacy. That may have not been written correctly, but it probably is correct.

ReplyDeleteI had trouble getting inspired to write as well. I felt overwhelmed with all the information I had and trying to narrow down what I had to work with and what I wanted to post....that "might be" interesting someone outside of the class.
